George Seper

American born George Seper has been photographing food and lifestyle images professionally for over thirty five years. He completed university degrees in science and education and worked for two years at the prestigious Bell Laboratories before deciding to pursue a full time career in photography. Initially George photographed fashion and beauty, primarily for magazines and fashion designers but after ten years he became interested in food photography and in the mid 80's decided to convert his fashion studio into one specialising in food.

George was the longest serving contributor to the highly acclaimed and ground breaking magazine, Vogue Entertaining and Travel. His work has appeared in countless magazines worldwide including Madame Figaro, Martha Stewart Living, Gourmet and Vogue Italia and his client list also includes some the worlds best advertising agencies. He has photographed major advertising campaigns for international giants like Sara Lee, Wedgewood and Royal Doulton among others and has won prestigious awards including gold and silver folio awards. He has images in the permanent photographic collection of the Australian National Gallery and his work is currently represented by the Stockfood Agency in Europe and America.

In 2007 George wrote the hugely successful Professional Photography Course and has taught thousands of students, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in photography. George is currently dividing his working time between photography, writing and teaching.
